American Ski Jumping Museum
The museum is devoted to the rich heritage of the sport of ski jumping in the USA, beginning with the first recorded tournament in 1887 at Red Wing MN and continuing through the present and into the future. It incorporates the online American Ski Jumping Hall of Fame.
Goodhue County Historical Society
Goodhue County Historical Society serves as the steward for county history by collecting, preserving, and promoting the natural and cultural history of Goodhue County through education and outreach.
Pottery Museum of Red Wing
The Pottery Museum of Red Wing is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich and colorful story of Red Wing’s clay industry. More than 6,000 vintage pieces of artisan-crafted stoneware, art pottery, dinnerware and folk art bring the story of historic Red Wing to life in dozens of dynamic exhibits covering 13,000 square feet.
Red Wing Marine Museum
The Red Wing Marine Museum is in one of the city’s historical venues along the river and depicts one of the oldest manufacturing industries-the boat and motor business.
Red Wing Shoe Museum
Visit the Red Wing Shoe Company museum inside the Red Wing Shoe Store in downtown Red Wing. Home to the world’s largest boot, a size 638 1/2 that stands at over 20 feet tall, the museum offers hands-on exhibits, a virtual tour through the factory and much more. Check out the Norman Rockwell original art gallery featuring footwear ads from the 1960s. The museum is free and open seven days a week, same hours as the retail store. Notify the store in advance with groups of 20 or more.
